This is a magnificent concert offered to us by Marie Cantagrill and her musicians from the Ariège orchestra, during this commemoration of the DRAKKAR. A huge success for this 40th anniversary. This concert opened with the moving interpretation of the Ariégeoise soloist, accompanied by Eloise Urbain on the organ, Concerto de l’Adieu by Georges Delerue. We then attended the world premiere of a work specially written for the occasion, Dance of Water and Fire by Nimrod Borenstein. And to close this evening of emotion, Marie Cantagrill played for the first time in Ariège, the famous Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, in D Major by Pyotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky. A virtuosity and an interpretation that transcended the 26 musicians of the orchestra and the 400 people present that evening, creating a whirlwind of energy and emotion!! An exceptional performance that will remain engraved in hearts and souls… A moment of communion suspended in time, magical...!!!
